Just that, nice and lighthearted. I sometimes beep and at random people I don't know as I'm driving and wave enthusiastically as if I know them. Their reactions are so funny sometimes, especially the ones who wave and look totally confused 😂

My husband and I always set the noisy toys off in the toy aisle at the supermarket.

MaMaD1990 · 23/02/2021 19:32

Some of these are pure genius. I used to find it funny to look at people's ears instead of their eyes when they spoke to me and they thought someone was behind them

I sometimes tell the man at the toll bridge that I am paying for the car behind as well as me and give him the money for both. It’s hilarious watching the driver of the car behind in my rear view mirror - seeing their reaction to the guy saying “the woman in that car paid for you” knowing I’m a complete stranger 😀

I also like writing ‘Mr. Fourturnings is a cock’ in the dirt on my DHs work van.

therocinante · 23/02/2021 20:02

@LizzieBirmingham

Every now and then I’ll tell my husband in a serious voice that I have something I have to tell him and then when he looks at me in concern I sing the chorus of Galantis’s Peanut Butter Jelly. Drives him round the bend Grin
I love you hahahaha
therocinante · 23/02/2021 20:02

I talk to myself as Malcom Tucker from the Thick of It a LOT. Accent and everything. I'm quite good.

EggyPegg · 23/02/2021 20:06

I like to stand outside the bathroom door when DH or the DC are in there. Especially DH. It cracks me up to see them jump a foot in the air when met with my grinning face.

I also sometimes lie in wait with a Nerf gun when DH is in there and fire at him as soon as he opens the door.

I sing stupid songs, sometimes when I'm on the loo.

I flash my boobs at DH as I walk past. His grin makes me laugh.

Some of these are excellent. I'm going to start saving madly at other drivers.

It's family legend that my Grandad once set all the alarm clocks in the aisle at Woolies to go off at the same time. My dad was a child so this was mid-sixties. My dad recalls him being very interested in all the clocks and suddenly being told 'walk, now' and then a cacophony of noise when they were several aisles away.
AgnesNaismith · 23/02/2021 20:11

Ahh OP, my Ddad did this when I was little and I loved it!!!

Sometimes I decide I’m going to have a ‘buffy the musical’ day and sing most of my words very dramatically...usually only lasts an hour until the children get annoyed but it cheers me up.

Often act like David Brent, more when drunk.

UnicornsForLife · 23/02/2021 20:21

I love these. I talk to my cat that much I don't need to make up her response anymore, she actually meows or chirps back. I also enjoy randomly singing to dd and dcat.

Trolldom · 23/02/2021 20:23

For a while my mum was going through a Mark Ruffalo phase, and I would act like I thought she said The Gruffalo anytime she mentioned him. Now she has grandkids and The Gruffalo comes up more often, so I, of course, question why shes bought a new Mark Ruffalo toy etc
Years of amusement... for me.

Boiledpotatowitch · 23/02/2021 20:25

I like to leave spooky messages written on the glass on the shower that are invisible till you have a shower things like make mum tea or die things like that

DH does this 😂
Hangingover · 23/02/2021 20:34

I do deliberately weird dancing around the kitchen while the coffee percolates. I mean REALLY weird, not standard weird.

If I get a nosebleed in the shower and it runs down I sometimes dramatically pretend I've been stabbed.

PunishmentSnart · 23/02/2021 20:34

I’m laughing my head off at you all Grin

I LOVE jumping out and scaring my kids, they now get me back and DS 11 scared me so bad the other day that I CRIED!!

Like a fellow PP I flash my DH through random windows if he’s in the garden etc.

I’m sure I do other random things that make me giggle to myself coz my DS is absolutely crazy mad and I howl at him daily and my friends say he is just like me as a kid Hmm

Boiledpotatowitch · 23/02/2021 20:36

@Hangingover Grin

Lurleene · 23/02/2021 20:38

This is a pocket unicorn. He is always kept hidden somewhere where DSs will eventually find him and I get very excited at the thought of the moment of discovery. Last time DS found him he had been hidden in his inside coat pocket for so long even I was surprised when he produced him from his pocket. DS is never impressed , I do it for my own pleasure.

@Emptybox

Ah! I’m in my 50’s. Nobody would ever believe I’m the one writing ‘arseholes’ in cardboard letters in the craft shop...
😂😂😂😂😂
TwoZeroTwoZero · 23/02/2021 20:51

Putting googly eyes onto anything that might make a face. In our house we have them on the oven gloves, the fridge, a few bottles, the door handle, the bin, the wall clock...

I don't have the photos now but I started a thread with them a while ago because I love a bit of silliness.

Masterpieceontheshelf · 23/02/2021 20:58

I talk to myself in a Sean Connery accent, and sometimes will answer the phone talking like him too Blush

NoseOfJericho · 23/02/2021 20:59

Arrange the dinner into faces. With hair, ears, beard etc.
I also arrange items in shops with letters into words, tits, arse ...

Write daft messages/quotes on the shopping list/note board on the fridge.

TheChip · 23/02/2021 21:00

I fake seizure like deaths, with dramatic noises and everything to see how my dogs and cats will react. Theyre never bothered. I hold my breath for quite a while to be convincing. Many times I've had toys dropped onto my face, or paws to the eyes.

I do cat voice overs too to entertain myself.

NoseOfJericho · 23/02/2021 21:00

I put our shoes into sexual positions in the middle of the doormat. Not often as it doesn't work too well unless it is missionary though.

NoseOfJericho · 23/02/2021 21:03

Set the kitchen timers in shops, and walk away quickly.

AlCalavicci · 23/02/2021 21:10

@FuckyouCovid21

A little bit similar to yours OP, but when another driver thanks me for letting them out, you know with a little hand wave, I wave enthusiastically back.

When I was getting ready to go out of an evening with my DP, I'd backcomb my hair into what looked like a lion's mane and say "ready" whilst walking into the living room

Regularly empty the hole punches into my colleagues going home shoes - brightens my day.

Re-arranging the letter mugs in Tesco to spell 'cunt'

Instead of putting hole punch dots in their shoes put in their umbrellas or coat hoods and watch from afar ( or learn to run fast ! )
