Holly Willoughby's Hair

AIBU to wonder if her husband cuts her hair and she's dyed it with the home hair dye she advertises? (It is cut in a very straight line and one length so possible to do at home?)

OR to wonder if is she having secret help? Not a split end or a root in sight, unlike moi!

Surely these people in the Media would have a team of Stylists? I know she does do a hair colour advert ,but cutting .and conditioning would make a big difference to the end result!Even in LD she would presumably have some sort of Bubble with her team ?

Hair and make up has been allowed for TV this lockdown

I just can't understand how she has so much money and style and she is ok with that terrible colour. Btw I really do like Holly but when I watch I am constantly looking at her hair. I think she should change colourist. I think Mollie kings blonde is beautiful when freshly done.

Actually they must be allowed haircuts otherwise Scofe would be overgrown

I heard on a podcast this morning that make up and hair teams on some shows are giving instructions from a distance for the performers to do their own make up and hair. I can't see this working well for haircuts really! Thinking about it, i guess they could walk her husband through it via zoom?

Or maybe theyre just bending the rules to suit!

DIY haircut tools are really good. One is for the longer hair and one is for the fringe.

@MrsTophamHat it very much depends you are right to some extent. Previously we were unable to go in and do hair and make up.
I work on a well known soap, and we did tutorials and they did for a while have done sort them self out, very obvious by some of their eye liners 😅 the things is if can Ben quite difficult because it isn’t only about having make up to look pretty / not tired in the case of tv presenters like Holly. Holly could quite easily probably do her her own.
For those who work on Soaps etc they often need skills fo make them self look very different even more so for some movies.
Also it’s about lighting etc this is very hard to show how to do.

These sort of clips. I bought them on Amazon for a few pounds.

DH can't cut my hair in straight line using scissors so he is using a hair trimmer. Lots of videos on YouTube how to do it.
You can have a straight bob or at an angle. I really recommend it for DIY haircuts.

Please be patient and wait for salon to reopen I’m a stylist and I don’t care what videos she has made saying she does herself it is a big fat fib !
The peroxide in those kits will not lift to a clean blonde then u have to tone be patient it’s only about another 6 weeks
And just think everyone’s hair well maybe 98 % of the population is in the same boat !
I chopped all mine off October so it’s growing out perfect time to do it in lockdown cus no one can see me 🤣

Not necessarily. I last had my hair cut mid October and although my hair is noticeably longer it still looks very neat and could easily pass for fairly freshly cut. It does depend on the cut though. Mine is all one length except for a side fringe. I also have subtle highlights and the roots have just blended in... Holly’s hair would need more maintenance as she has all over colour. But I’ve been pleasantly surprised how much my hair has held up without any work. Same for first lockdown too. It’s also in better condition than it has been for ages... not sure why, it’s just luck as I haven’t done anything with it. Although I use less styling tools than before so maybe lack of heat damage is the reason my hair looks so glossy at the moment

Leave Holly alone! I like her hair and she's very pretty. Despite saying leave her alone I will, maybe unfairly say I think she looked prettier when she was 'bigger'.

Celebrities get discussed otherwise they wouldn’t be celebs. Also she advertises hair products for goodness sake. Or should we just gush about them.

I prefer Holly with her natural hair colour. It suits her so well. Peroxide blond cheapens the look.

I've been wearing a hat since September! Now it's getting a bit warm...Will try to be patient, but have already given it a trim!

I always roll my eyes when I see celebs like Holly or Davina advertising hair dye, no way would they risk dying their own hair 🤣

Its pretty obvious that Davina either doesn't colour her own hair ( unless she dyes it every week) or doesn't actually use Head and Shoulders because Head &Shoulders fades colour and she always looks fresh.
Holly is more likely to use home hair dye, because a lot of the home hair dyes don't have enough lift to make the hair not yellowy
