Ultra trivial things you miss

Things you miss which are so trivial you would sound incredibly 'first world problem' if you told anyone.

I will start with:

Wearing lipstick and big earrings. I look like a potato without them but I can't with a mask on.

Seeing my hairdresser, the grey in my hair is shocking.

Bookshops and a pint of proper beer in a pub.

There's quite a nice pub near the local Waterstones. I think on the first day they're both open, I'll have a browse, buy a book, stroll across to the pub and sit and read while supping my pint.

Having a training Course at work and a little buffet being served

Browsing in shops .. I had a reason to meet someone today .. she asked me to come back in 20 minutes, it was wet, dreary and miserable ... I just couldn't imagine what to do for those 20 minutes. ... in normal times I could have popped into a shop or library, had a quick coffee in a coffee shop ...

My volunteering work in the local primary school. I loved doing that.

Trying out perfume in Jo Malone.

Flicking through a magazine in a newsagent.

Walking around a shop in any direction I fancy.

Being able to wear my glasses without them misting up when wearing a face mask. It makes me feel so disoriented and oddly vulnerable.
