To wonder if I can pay someone (dog poo)

I’ve a feeling I may get flamed for this but here goes.

I have been unwell for a few weeks (and continue to be - but am getting better). I have a dog Walker who takes the dog out but in the morning and evening he does his number 2 in the garden.

As I’ve not been well it’s sort of built up - and right now I just cannot physically go out and pick it up.

Aibu to try and find out if there is someone I can pay to do this? If I’m not BU - who would I even approach? I can’t imagine putting it up on gumtree or calling a gardener for example?

There is a small business in our town that does exactly this. They employ a couple of people, have two vans, and do people’s gardens, and occasional work for the council etc. They pick up all poo and disinfect afterwards.
I couldn’t do it, although I always pick up after my own pooch, but I think it’s a brilliant idea.

I agree with this.. i mean it's by no means the most wonderful job in the world but for most people, it standard to owning a dog. I also used to work as a carer and could be changing adults 40+ times a day, now im reading my posts and others im realising i must have been around poop much more than the average person!!! Animals & human!

I agree it should pay well however, but mostly because it's bloody cold and wet outside, some days I was frozen and that was seeing to my own animals!

And thier plastic free dog poop bag. Life changing. Makes everything quicker and hardly any contact with the actual poo. I thought it very pricey to begin with, but its been worth every penny!

@Chachachange when they were younger my teenagers would have jumped at the chance to earn some fairly easy money !
