To start the 1:1 diet (Cambridge Weight Plan) and then become a consultant to earn extra money

Hello

Over the last 6 months, I have been changing my eating habits and exercising more. I lost 2 stone, I'm 5ft 8. I went from a size 16 to a size 12 (between August and December). I was trying to reach a size 10, but since Christmas, I haven't been eating healthily. However, I have carried on exercising (for mental and physical health).

I was talking to a friend online the other day and she had lost 4st with the 1:1 diet. She had also become a consultant and suggested that I could join and earn more money. Also, I thought I could get to a size 10 and earn extra money whilst doing so.

I currently work part time. DP said "you won't make any money and its just a scam". "You will put money in and never see it again". I liked the idea as I can work from home and earn some extra money.

Has anyone had any success with losing weight and keeping it off with 1:1 diet?

Has anyone made any money by becoming a 1:1 diet consultant?

Everyone: It's a shit diet, relies on ripping off family and friends and you will loose money.

OP: Do people think it's a good diet, I want to make money and loose weight.

We are getting nowhere slowly people.

Hi OP
I haven’t RTFT but wanted to recommend a podcast called “The Dream” it’s all about MLMs and does a really good job of explaining why they’re so predatory. It’s American based but they all operate in essentially the same way. Make sure you listen to season 1 before getting involved with your friend.

I know I’m late to the party here but having read some of the comments I’m at a loss where these so called experts have got their information from. The 1:1 Diet is part of the DSA - the Direct Selling Association. There’s been SO much research on this diet - in fact the NHS did their own research using 1:1 products and have now rolled out an 800 calorie shakes and soups diet for their type 2 diabetics. Diabetes U.K. have done their own independent research and also recommend the diet. It is a low calorie, low sugar diet with 6 “steps” only one of which is total diet replacement. There is NO PRESSURE to recruit a team - there are NO targets to do so, and if you just wanted to become a Consultant to buy stock for yourself then you can. It drives me potty that people who have no idea what they’re talking about spout off on hearsay. I lost 7 stone on this diet. I’m a very very successful Events Organiser but I became a Consultant because I wanted to help people. In the end my business was so successful I have knocked the events on the head. I am making more money doing this job that I did as a Sales Director in London and working a quarter of the hours. I work hard and reap the rewards. It is quite simply the best thing I have ever done and it has changed my life - and my Children's - more than you can ever imagine. Please please don’t comment on a company or a diet that you know nothing about. They have just won Employee Owned Business of the Year. It’s not a scam. It’s not about ketosis. It’s not about pyramid selling. Direct sales has been the fastest growing industry in lockdown and continues to thrive. I started this business with an investment of £200. I am making thousands per month and don’t regret a thing. Best job I’ve EVER had - and I’ve had some pretty amazing ones!

Look up rebelfit on Facebook. The guy who runs it talks alot about dieting and how diets like this cause people to put more weight on long term due to restricting what bodies need and creating binge eating further down the line.
