To wonder what crafty activities people do and sell?

I’m not hugely creative but would love to start something to raise money for a charity close to my heart.

I notice people doing things like making badges or sewing etc but obviously need a starting kit which can be pricy.

Any ideas on what isn’t too hard to start and relatively cheap to make?

Can you say what type of charity it is?

Morris125 · 18/02/2021 16:55

It’s the children’s heart unit fund, my little girl has a heart condition and they provide funds for the ward she’s been on and for the hospital she is under! I was thinking something with hearts on maybe as would fit with the charity!

Look on Etsy and see what people are selling? You can see reviews and how many people have bought an item.

It might give you some ideas.

Needlefelt hearts would be relatively inexpensive and simple to make (if you use heart shaped cutter like this: www.bluebearwood.co.uk/needle-felt-hearts/). You could then stitch a safety pin to the back to turn it into a brooch. If you can knitor crochet a little bit the Easter chicks with creme eggs are quick to make and popular at this time of year: eviesgran.wordpress.com/2012/03/15/easter-chick-easy-knit/
