AIBU to still do this as an adult? (light hearted)

As a child if I had a soft boiled egg my DF told me to break the bottom of the shell when I'd finished it because otherwise "witches used the shell to row out to sea and wreck ships"! Obviously he wasn't being serious but AIBU that now decades later I STILL break the bottom every time? Am I the only one who does childish things as an adult?

Margaret Attwood wrote about the egg shell thing in one novel (Catseye, maybe?). She pointed out putting a hole in the shell breaks the vacuum in the egg cup.

If we saw an ambulance we used to say (and do the actions too)
"Touch your collar, touch your knee, thank the lord it wasn't for me" and you had to hold your collar until you saw a four-legged animal. No idea of the origins of that one. I don't still do the actions now but the rhyme goes through my head when I see an ambulance.

If you banged your elbow you had to bang the other one too, otherwise it was bad luck. Still do that now, even though I'm not remotely superstitious.
