To want to know about the best value apples?

I'm trying to eat a healthier diet. I love Pink Lady apples but they're so expensive. I bought Braeburns instead (cheaper) but they're a bit mushy.

In your opinion which apples sit at the nicest for least money nexus?

I find apples incredibly boring, but do like a mushy one!
