New puppy, 2 names, help us pick pleaser!

Hi everyone, we have a new puppy.
Pomeranian, 11 weeks old.
The two names we have picked are Kuba and Loki. Kuba (not Cuba, pronounced Coo-ba.
Kuba sounds like a bear and he looks like one.
Loki, the god of Mischief. Little playful.
Help up pick please. Pics attached. :)

It's not about the spelling for me, it's the assumption you have to call to the dog by his name.

I've heard of lots of Loki's including cats. A friend used to have a pomeranian called Dave.

Loki makes me think of the boat builder in vikings. I’d go for the other one.

Why not Kuba Loki? (Our dog has a middle name too)

Kuba sounds really odd sorry! I’m not a fan of either but if I was pushed then Loki, kuba just sounds like someone who can’t pronounce Cuba properly

Loki is really widely used at the moment - and sounds like 'lucky' said weirdly.

Kuba is a popular polish name- a diminutive for Jacob.

I'm not terribly keen on either. When you call out Loki it sounds luck someone can't pronounce Lucky.
I'd go back to the drawing board.

Kuba pronounced coo-ba is Polish I think. I taught a pupil with it spelt and pronounced like that. He was utterly awesome so I vote Kuba.

Prefer Loki, but it's a common dog name, I'd go for Pom, as in pom bears and pomeranian.

Shouting that down at the beach it would sound like I was shouting 'porn'. 🤣🤣

I voted for Loki but only because I dislike CooBa more snd you seem dry on one of the two. I'd choose something entirely different if it was up to me.

To ME CooBa sounds like as speech issue.

Loki is lovely, but way too popular now because of marvel movies.

Loki is very overused and always makes me cringe. I know of at least 3 cats and 2 dogs with that name and I don't even know a lot of pet owners! I always assume a pre-teen year old Avengers fan has been given the task of naming the family pet.

Kuba is lovely and original, whichever way it's pronounced.
