Baby eczema

Sorry, posting here for traffic.

11 month old has very itchy eczema. Have used child’s farm cream, epader cream, cetraben ointment, only the ointment is somewhat effective. I’m applying it regularly throughout the day but the itchiness is awful as night, baby is so restless because of it.

Doctor has also prescribed mild steroid cream but doesn’t seem effective. I don’t think it is infected, just very very dry Sad

Please, any advice or recommendations.
Has anyone tried these aveeno creams? Is there much difference between the 2? Thanks

Has she been tested for allergies? My dd's eczema is far worse in summer due to her allergies

Google bleach baths.

MooGoo creams made a huge difference for my DD who had horrific eczema , especially the sensitive one and the moogoo full cream

Scratch sleeves pyjama tops on a night
Sleeping bags so they can't get to the legs

Have some scratch sleeves Velcro jacket bolero as well as this can be thrown on when itching starts when out and about and helps break the cycle

Also rule out any allergies as we had lots...consider what you eat if breastfeeding too.

And be aware that the creams the GPS prescribe sometimes aren't the best for long term skin health

Elena’s nature collection sorted my DS’s out.
Also Surcare for washing.

When DD was a baby our GP prescribed evening primrose oil in addition to creams and emollients in orderr tontreat from the inside too. It definitely seemed to help her.
