Valentines day cards...

Just looking for one for a newish relationship and omg they are also over the top!

I mean I just wanted a cutesy card to say hugs and kisses and have a nice day...(he's always doing I've things for me and i just thought it would be a nice gesture) but they all seem to be undying love and destiny and utter mush. Looking at most of them thinking 'I couldn't ever see me sending something this full on! Even if we had been together 20 years!'.

Am I being unfair in asking that there are just a few that include things we would actually mean? Like 'Well we've survived this far, heres to another year of not wanting to kill eachother!'.

I finally found one that was acceptable only to open it up and find it had a poem in it about living happily ever after. Fml lol.

Going to have to edit it. Or make my own.

One I read a while back a long married couple kept the same card they began for each other and added a new message for that year. We did begin this but 4 house moves in 3 years and we lost them

I got mine at Thortful too.

Just adding a vote for Thortful. Though this year DH is getting a postcard of a Rottweiler, since I want one and he won’t agree. This way a lovely Rottie will stay on the mantelpiece for a month .

I got DH a brilliant cheese related valentines card from moon pig (he loves cheese also ordered 2 cheeses in heart shapes from elsewhere )
They have a great selection.

I found a cute one in Asda that said 'you make my heart smile', which is nice without being too OTT I think. 🙂

I got one from Thortful. It’s a pencil drawing of Fleetwood Mac singing and says “I want to be with you everywhere”
