I’m really proud of my daughters “ shark”

But fully prepared to be humbled.

Crikey to those saying 12 months. My 11 month old is WAY behind !

I'm not sure OP as eldest is 12 years old and I can't remember how old they are when they do x, but it's lovely.

Stompythedinosaur · 04/02/2021 12:31

I would have said 2-3.

It's very sweet.

AaronPurr · 04/02/2021 12:34

Another saying 2 - 3.

It's a very cute drawing, and they've obviously had a lot of fun creating it. 😃

YouCantBeSadHoldingACupcake · 04/02/2021 12:35

2-3. it has a defined shape so I'm gonna say they have to be at least 2

JesusInTheCabbageVan · 04/02/2021 12:35

Come back and update OP, or I will vote YABU!

Kljnmw3459 · 04/02/2021 12:36

That's cute. Around 2 I'd say? Their pen control can vary so much depending on the child.

I'm way too impatient to wait so did an advanced search to find out Grin
Tigger85 · 04/02/2021 12:44

My Ds is 3 years and almost 6 months, he only does circles/ovals and scribbles. I think he is fairly average drawing wise so I'd guess 3-5. If I'm wrong and being able to draw actual creatures with eyes and mouth unaided is average for 1-3 year olds then D's is very far behind and I'm annoyed preschool haven't said anything about him being behind to us.

CaptainSirTomMooreismyhero · 04/02/2021 12:45

What shark?

Aprilx · 04/02/2021 12:48

18 months. I can’t see a shape or features such as eyes (that a PP mentioned). Blush

Dahlietta · 04/02/2021 12:48

Another vote for 2-3. My 3 year old now draws better than that, but he's only a few months off 4 and I wouldn't say that he's artistically gifted Grin

FlyingFaster · 04/02/2021 12:49

No idea, but before I opened the picture properly I thought it was drawn on a sanitary towel

JesusInTheCabbageVan · 04/02/2021 12:51

@Oysterbabe crafty!

Have now done the same. Grin I think it is excellent for that age OP, you should be proud.

PolarnOPirate · 04/02/2021 12:51

I can’t see the shark either. But PPs have pointed out the child articulated it was a shark so I’m going to say 2.

Words · 04/02/2021 12:56

Can't make anything out I'm afraid!

jendifer · 04/02/2021 13:04

Also saying 20-24 months.

namechange7567785544 · 04/02/2021 13:06

I think 2?

PurpleFlower1983 · 04/02/2021 13:11

I’ll day around 2. My daughter is 2 soon and this looks like her efforts :)

Spied · 04/02/2021 13:13

18mo

whatsthatnow74 · 04/02/2021 13:13

I'm an early years teacher, so going to say somehwere around 24 to 26 months, based on knowledge of child development.

whatsthatnow74 · 04/02/2021 13:13

Sorry, that should be 24 to 36 months!

TakeTheCuntOutOfScunthorpe · 04/02/2021 13:14

One or under I'd guess?

SideEyeing · 04/02/2021 13:15

All the people saying one or under... do you have tiny van Goghs?

2-3.

BernardsarenotalwaysSaints · 04/02/2021 13:19

2-3. It's excellent.

FlyingFaster · 04/02/2021 13:21

This is MN, so of course their children were painting perfect replicas of The Scream by the time they were 3.
