More of a WWYD
So I found a jar of unopened jam at the back of a cupboard.
Use by date Nov 2019
Would you use it?
I say yes.
My adult DC are horrified 😂

Jam is a preserve - it will be fine.
As long as its not green and furry on top Grin

YANBU.

I might be reluctant because it could have lost flavour and I like my jam to taste good. But not because I'd be worried about it killing me!

DramaAlpaca · 03/02/2021 01:21

Of course I'd eat it.

My adult DC would turn up their noses too.

@Minnie6078

I'd eat it although I have scraped the mould off jam before and then used it so maybe I'm not the best person to take advice from on the subject, never did me any harm though :-)
I do that too. Scrape the top layer off with a spoon. Good as new!
