To get a coronavirus test with no symptoms?

I'm day 6 of isolation. No symptoms and same for rest of household but have been in constant close contact of adult dd who tested positive . She had chest infection without a cough, temperature or loss of smell previous to covid test.

I'd like to know when we leave isolation in 4 days we are not spreading due to being positive but asymptomatic.

I think that’s fine these enough testing kits now.

You can get a lateral flow test if they're available in your area.

My local council are advising everyone to get them as often as possible.

Check out your local council's website. Where I live they have set up testing centres specifically for those with no symptoms (walk-in, no appointment needed)

Check your council website, we are encouraged to get regular tests without symptoms by our council.

I live in Waltham Forest, an outer London Borough, the rates per 100k in December were about 1,800. We were being told that they thought about 1 in 30 people probably had Covid with knowing.

In the last week our rates have dropped to below average for the country.

There are test sites to go to if you have symptoms and drop in test sites to go to if you don't. We can't be the only area that does this.

I would, I think it's ridiculous that close contacts of confirmed cases arent tested. In theory you could have caught it after a few days so could still be contagious if you were asymptomatic

I can see why people don't get tested. We loose £2000 a week as a household. Potentially it could go on for weeks. Temporary workers
