I think I just saw a mouse

Run across my bedroom floor. WTAF.

I am terrified. I have never had a mouse before ever.

It was a blur and I saw something rubbery fast. I’m now sitting up with my glasses on keeping very still.

It was either a mouse, or a rat, or a spider or a cockroach.

These are all the things it could be right? I am terrified. I have no idea what to do.

At least it did a runner, via where it probably got in. Hopefully it was just visiting, not staying with its mates.

Now you know where it's getting in, buy a strip of brush door sealer and fix it to the bottom of the front door (get decent stuff, not just draught excluders). Get some anti-rodent spray and spray it round the bottom of the door too.

And be very strict about clearing away all food, including crumbs.

Ah, OP, if it makes you feel any better, it was probably a field mouse, and there's a lady local to me hand rearing a baby field mouse her cat brought in. She's sharing lots of videos of how the mouse is getting on, lots of people are in love.
