To think I might have blown this?

I had a telephone interview today for a sales advisor for a well known company.
I had studied the company and its products well.
Everything was going well until we got to a target question
What would you do if 3 customers had left the company and you weren't retaining the customers ?
I answered I would reflect over the 3 calls and if for example one lady decided to leave as she found a product elsewhere that was more suitable I would ask her ..her needs then match a suitable product.
Or if they found a cheaper deal I would see if I could price match (I don't even know if the company do that )
She said I should have responded "speak with team leader,ask to listen to calls "

I have experience with targets for 4 months as a collections agent
Also 4 years towards targets as a customer advisor selling insurance products suitable for items they've purchased
Also Debenhams selling store cards

She said she was happy to pass me on to the final stage a interview with a manager on Wednesday but have I blew it by answering that question wrong?
She gave me feedback and told me to work on answers to targets etc
I'm upset I've blown it
I thought I was well prepared

What ever happened to one piece of piss interview to see if you like the role and they like you. It’s all jump through a million hoops using only your little finger

I had to apply and answer questions.
Then another online test
Then a telephone interview
Now another telephone interview
If I'm successful I need to provide 4 references a 10 year employment history references a criminal record check and a credit check.

I think she sounds like an inexperienced interviewer if she thinks there is only one 'correct' answer to a question. The purpose of an interview is to find out about the employee, their work ethic, attitude, intelligence, fit for the company etc, not whether they can regurgitate correct answers from a script. It's not a maths exam.

I just really want this job.
I actually feel like I'm studying for my A levels again

@FFSAllTheGoodOnesArereadyTaken well exactly, and every company has different practices.
I bet if I did get the job and I tried to approach the manager on a busy day ..I would be told to get back on the phone.
