To ask you to help me plan my own solo lockdown valentines day

So I am newly single after a painful break up. Lots of lovely advice on here and support got me through this first month. One stuck out which was to get to know myself and treat myself like my own date. I like this idea and thought i could treat myself to a cheesy solo valentines day. So far I'm thinking an M and S meal deal, but myself flowers and have a nice bath and use my fancy body lotion. Anything you would add? If you are into valentines day and also single, do you do anything to treat yourself?

Since we will still be in lockdown I am ordering an afternoon tea.

@Needhelp101 I have to admit the towel was the star of the show. One of those things I just forget about the rest of the time! 😂

I think you may have an unrealistic vision of what most couples do on Valentine's Day!! I think of it as a day for teenagers/very young couples.

I'm in my 30's and DH is in his 40's. We always do something nice. I don't think it's really about age, and while a lot of it can be seen as commercialised, etc. I think it's just a nice thing to do. Lots of couples of all ages do things for it - and single people of all ages deserve the same! Smile
