I was there three years which was quite rare and I felt left behind.

Two.

I remember there had been a few "third year sixth" at ny old school, but not for the whole year. Maybe they were doing resits.

@lovethisjourneyforme

Also did 3, I got sectioned a few times in those years so had to redo a lot of it. I got 6 A Levels though so was worth it.
6 A-Levels is very impressive

I spent 2 years doing A-Levels in the sixth form of my comp school

A good friend of mine did 3 years at the same school and went on to work as a graphic designer. She is now a lecturer at a further education college. It’s the reason I am friends with her; she stayed a year to do an NVQ then went on to do A-Levels the same time as me

Two years at college.

ZackaryQuack · 27/01/2021 00:40

I did 3, I wanted to do an additional A level to gain more ucas points.
Didn't go to uni in the end...

Workyticket · 27/01/2021 00:43

3
Failed my A levels first time as I was always in the pub 🙈

TheFormerPorpentiaScamander · 27/01/2021 00:46

In total? 4.5
I went to 6th form for 2 years but never took any exams (I had a lot of awful shit going on at home)
Then I went to college for a 2 year course, but left half way through year 2 as I was pregnant.
Then I did an access course a few years later.

I started an A level secretarial course at 16 in a FE college, got kicked out as I hated it & was never there. Returned to sixth form at my old school at 17, only lasted a couple of months as I didn't want to be there, my parents had pushed me in to going, had been on the dole but studying under 21 hours a week since I left school at 16. Got a job just before I was 19 at HMRC, did NVQs in Business management & IT level 3 through work.

3 years at college studying childcare. NVQ level 2 took 1 year and 2 years to get the level 3 qualification. I went to college straight after high school year 11. Loved college.
