To ask if you regret tubal ligation?

I'll be having my tubal ligation when I have my Caesarean section in summer. This will be my second child and I'm 99.9% sure I'm done with having children, I'm 32 and already knackered lol. There is of course the tiny tiny doubt, but I wanted to know if this is normal and if you regret having yours? How many children had you had when you made the choice? What age were you?

@bg21

yes without trying to be dramatic but the side effects and psychological effects have actually ruined my life and il never be the same
That sounds really stressful and upsetting for you I'm so sorry. What exactly happened with the side effects?

I was 21, best decision I ever made. I already had two children by then and had visions of having a baby a year.

IHaveBrilloHair · 25/01/2021 14:14

I was 30 with one child I'm 43 now, Dd is 19 and I've no regrets.
I'd had two unplanned pgs and just couldn't cope with another.

usernamechocolat · 25/01/2021 14:15

I did and I had it reversed

sodababy2 · 25/01/2021 14:20

I was 38 and had it during C section for DC3 a few months ago. I knew I didn't want any more babies and don't really like hormonal contraception. No regrets so far but it's very early days!

MotherWol · 25/01/2021 14:30

Watching with interest as I'm pregnant with DC2, likely to have an c-section, and I know I don't want a third. The thing that gives me pause are the physical or emotional side effects.

Slightly different. Dh had a vasectomy. I feel super broody but we have more than enough in our plate. I'm glad the choice isnt there now

Alonelonelyloner · 25/01/2021 14:56

DueBabyMummy2B · 25/01/2021 18:30

@bg21 sorry to hear how it's affected you. Would you mind elaborating at all? As it's something is seriously considering.
