Happy Burns Night! DH is having haggis tonight but DD and I are having baked potato with cheese and beans - I hate haggis and he thinks we are freaks for liking cheese and beans together so it's going to work out beautifully 😂

Nah, it's all good - I've had home-made "Boursin" and crackers for dinner tonight (am in Australia) so will save the haggis for tomorrow. It's not a whole haggis - it's (horrors!) slices, we prefer ours (horrors again!) fried rather than boiled.

I love that techs created the years ago - we campaigned for it and they let us have it - but it doesn't make a reappearance in the smiley list like other seasonal ones do.

We are having irn bru for lunch. Then roast beef and haggis for dinner, mashed neeps and carrots.
Might make cranachan but I think it’s only me that likes it.
We were also going to have smoked salmon but I forgot and ate it yesterday with scrambled eggs.

Middle child needs to record himself doing the obligatory Burns poem.
