Are barbers still open?

How are all the men getting their haircut still? Everyone looks normal to me whilst my hair is shocking🙂

I’ve been cutting DP hair since last March and am getting quite professional
Thankfully my style can cope without a trim for a while but if hairdressers don’t open soon I will have to touch up roots myself

Clippers are the answer. DH always looks tidy. They are really easy to use. You can't go wrong, unless you forget to put the right attachment on. (I did that once )

I bet loads went to the barber before lockdown so they just don't look too bad yet.

What's the AIBU?

My DH cuts his own with clippers and he does a pretty good job, he cuts DS’s too.

Dh bought clippers and I have some cheap hair dressing scissors and I have to cut his hair. Hate doing it as I'm scared I'll make a mess on it. I did take a small chunk out the back the first time 😂 it was teeny but he wasn't happy!

Oh god my DH looks horrific... it repulses me! Honestly he just doesn't suit long hair and it always looks lank and a bit greasy as he still insists on trying to "style" it with his wax...

I've cut DH's hair for 20 years so he looks the same. Adult DSs both have long hair and beards. DS1 isn't cutting his at all, I've trimmed up DS2s a couple of times. I've had one haircut in 18 months, normally I get it cut 2 or 3 times a year. It's more or less all one length and I don't dye it so it looks OK.

I'm doing DH's with clippers, and I whacked a good few inches off DD's waist length hair. I, on the other hand, look like Hagrid, or Monica from Friends when they went to Barbados.

Sorry no real AIBU. I was sent a clip last night (sorry can’t attach) of Lucas Bravo in the film he is currently doing and once my concentration returned (he was naked from waist up doing something very interesting with his arms🤪🤪🤪🤪) it struck me. Obv on a film set they are in role but in general all the men online I see still look the same whereas I have to tie my hair up in case I scare the life out of everyone.🤣
