Potato wedges are cut in a wedge shape and seasoned differently.

Bourbonic · 17/01/2021 18:55

Well, no. They're wedges.

LubaLuca · 17/01/2021 18:56

They're a different shape and usually seasoned.

yep add cajun spice to them and they become very tasty skin on chips

DimidDavilby · 17/01/2021 19:05

Unless you square off the sides of your potatoes surely some of your chips do come out wedge shaped?

A great big fat skin on chip yes but generally seasoned more.

StepOutOfLine · 17/01/2021 19:11

But you fry chips and roast wedges. (Apart from the size, skin, and seasoning differences)

ShrikeAttack · 17/01/2021 19:12

What Step said. Wedges are cooked in the oven. Chips are deep-fried.

LApprentiSorcier · 17/01/2021 19:14

A potato wedge is a skin on chip an abomination.

Fixed that for you Wink.

JovialNickname · 17/01/2021 23:52

No... chips are chipped potatoes, little bits. A wedge is a wedge, like a slice.
