To ask your toastie/panini recipes please

Following on from my thread about panini press/toastie machines please can you tell me your combinations? Veggie ones even better but I'll adjust things to make them veggie. We don't do eggs generally but you never know with the dc 🤷🏼‍♀️

This is the machine I've bought. It hasn't arrived yet but I'll eager to give it a try.

Layer of spinach leaves
Soft blue cheese of your choice.
Very thinly (with a mandolin if you have one or other wise just thin with a knife) sliced pear.
Little bit of thinly sliced red onion
Drizzle (don’t over do it) of honey.

Hot dogs cheese and beans 😋

Haggis and cheese!

Need to cook the haggis first, or a good use for leftover haggis.

Cooked chicken
Spinach
Roasted red peppers
Mozzarella
Harissa paste as the butter inside and butter the outside

My favourite

Banana and peanut butter
Raspberry jam and Philadelphia cheese
Strong cheddar cheese and sweetcorn
Hummus and roasted red pepper and spinach
All yummy!

I'm not veggie, but there are some lovely ideas here.

Yesterday’s leftover leeks, which were gently fried.
A thin layer of mustard.
A cheese with a bit of flavour.

Pesto ,mozzarella and cherry tomatoes
Goats cheese and chargrilled peppers

Marshmallow and Nutella

The best trick with toasties is to butter the outside of the bread

Try mayo instead of butter...thank me later!

Extra mature cheddar and cooked, sliced beetroot. Yum!

I'm really hungry reading all these! Nutella and marshmallow would be heaven for dd1 and ds. I'll see if I can order some veggie ones.

Waitrose Marinated Halloumi panini is the most delicious sandwich ever!

Dolmio sauce, chopped onion, mushrooms, cheese.

M&S Cornish cruncher cheddar, caramelised red onion and chilli jam.

Crisps on the side are mandatory!

I've ordered some vegan marshmallows to try out the Nutella and marshmallow ones. The shopping arrives today as does the panini machine so it's going to be an exciting day for us

Hawaiian - ham, pineapple & lots of cheese.

A friend introduced me to Brie and a layer of very thinly sliced grapes - delicious!

Brie, spinach and mushroom

Brie and cranberry

Cheddar and chopped red pepper

Tuna and cheddar (My DH likes this. I think it's a bit weird)
