Why is THE HOT DUKE not on top?

AIBU, or just a complete old-woman perv, to think that the HOT DUKE OF BRIDGERTON (who has literally become the only thing that's keeping ME going through this January) should be firmly "on top" of this list?

I agree with @Pomegranatemolasses, I WISH i could stop feeling this way, but i can't. I keep googling about Rege, hoping I'll find something unsavoury about him so that I can start disliking him. I haven't been successful so far. He is gorgeous gorgeousness personified.

Can't bring myself to watch Normal People as I'm still so angry at how much I hated the book. Also I've heard it's got a lot of sex in it and the sex was the worst bit of Bridgerton - I fast-forwarded it

We're the Duke to be looking for someone to practice those sex scenes with (not on fast forward) obviously I would have to oblige for the sake of his art.

I read the book after watching Normal People and though the series was better. It's extremely well cast and acted, the attention to detail is amazing. The sex scenes were very well done (intimacy coordinator) but they do go on a bit so if you don't like sex scenes generally that might be off putting.

My friend and I watched the whole season on Boxing Day!
She is a huge fan of the books.
Long time wait until the next season.

To be honest one of the scenes bordered uncomfortably on rape and really changed any enjoyment for me.

And the bizarre "choose the distant grumpy man and you can change him" thing - I'd have hoped we'd moved beyond that trope.
