To not want to 'connect' with 'angels'

An old school acquaintance had an 'encounter with an angelic force' quite recently and has now set themselves up online offering remote angelic healing.

Which means my FB timeline is now plug after plug after plug about how connecting with angels could enhance my life, how angelic healing can sort out my anxiety etc etc.

I muted their page but now I'm getting invites every other day to events like 'Learn about your angelic guardians' and 'Angelic healing for sleep issues'. Invites from their 'work' page and their personal page.

I actually want to scream at them now.

AIBU to tell them exactly what I think about angels? (Which is THEY DO NOT FUCKING EXIST)

@ViciousJackdaw

Sorry I thought it was quite acute idea.

OP you can go into your privacy settings and hidden in there somewhere in your ad settings, is a list of all the topics that Facebook thinks will interest you. These topics are driving your adverts and the list is built out by the other things in your feed that you interact with eg if you once clicked on an advert about pitbulls, your ad preferences will include pitbulls!
You can remove all those topics and your fb feed will be so much more banal and less interesting altogether. You have to revisit it again every few weeks though because random topics keep getting added to mine. But I keep deleting them!

I've found the path to removing your interests in the android mobile app: profile > settings and privacy > settings > ad preferences > ad settings (this is a tab) > catogires used to reach you > interest categories

They're sly how they hide this away, but hope this helps someone!
