I have a 13 yr old, 2 yr old and a newborn Shock my timing wasn't great... we are in full blown teenage mood swings (home schooling) the terrible twos (there is just no reasoning) and a newborn... I look forward for bedtime all of my 2 hours here and there Confused

CuteOrangeElephant · 11/01/2021 22:04

My child was perfectly well behaved when she was two. Then she turned three Confused.

My 3 year old is a little sweetheart. A bundle of fun and mischief but so kind and caring. He wasn't terrible at 2 either so maybe I'm just lucky to have one with a placid nature.

elizabethdraper · 11/01/2021 22:07

Sailed through the terrible 2 and teenagers. The fucking fours, completely through us for a loop

3 years later i am still traumatised by the fucking fecker fours

xHeartinacagex · 11/01/2021 22:11

My oldest had the worst terrible twos. Seriously awful. I'll take 3 any day!

Skatastic · 11/01/2021 22:13

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha haaaaaaaa

AnnaSW1 · 11/01/2021 22:15

I find mine much easier at 3 than 2. Definitely! Smile

purpleproses · 11/01/2021 22:16

And then the feisty fives 😂

ChestnutStuffing · 11/01/2021 22:17

YABU.

ChestnutStuffing · 11/01/2021 22:18

Though I always found 3 worse than 2. Same strong will, but a lot more clever and able to stay on task. That is, much more likely to outsmart you or wear you down.

Nonamesavail · 11/01/2021 22:19

I have teens and toddlers. Teens are worse.

Pinotwoman82 · 11/01/2021 22:19

Life was much better when they got to 4.5/5

TheKeatingFive · 11/01/2021 22:19

It was 4 when the shit hit the fan with DS1. He was a delight before then.

There’s no telling.

rumandbiscuits · 11/01/2021 22:23

I've been pretty smug through my LG second year 'terrible twos?! What? She's a delight!' Now we are approaching 3 and the change has started.... I feel karma has come to get me for being so smug! Not a good time for me to be bringing a baby into the picture either. I'm scared for my life 🙈 and now after reading this thread it doesn't sound like 4s are any easier?! What have a signed up for?!

Iminaglasscaseofemotion · 11/01/2021 22:26

Not with my first so far, but he was a good 2 year old. He is a stubborn, lazy, cheeky 12 year old, so I don't hold much hope that he will be any better over the next few years.

Doublechins · 11/01/2021 22:58

Mine were all ok at two. Between the ages of 3-5 they were demons
