For those of us WFH do you genuinely take time out to complete all the activities set by the school or do you, as I have done, try your best and get the most done where possible? More aimed at primary school kids who don't independently work as much

YABU - get everything done
YANBU - as much as possible

I can’t believe, for children who don’t work independently, that anyone can do both

Surely no one who is WFH can get everything done and the teachers must realise

Across my 3 primary kids, they each missed 1 assignment which I don’t think is bad at all. However, I haven’t been watching the lessons or even looking at the work which is being submitted, so pretty sure they have missed or misunderstood quite a few bits too (mine are 2 x Y1 and 1 x Y3)

I am WFH with a pretty busy schedule, my older 2 can 90% get on with it. Youngest not at all and is struggling with reading and writing. We are doing a little bit of set class work in the day but I mean 10/20 mins max and then trying to do reading/ flashcards twice a day . It's exhausting to say the least

YANBU. School know we're also working and doing our best to homeschool so no pressure from them, just helpful support for DD.

We are getting everything done, but we both do jobs where time can be made up in the evenings or weekends. I think if your work was less flexible, or there weren't two parents juggling I think it would be impossible and you'd just had to do what you could.
