To think there is a bit of an old boy's network?

Or at least even a boy's network?
Whilst training in hospital the male colleagues were all desperate for the male trainees to apply for jobs as rhey would have somebloke mates to make lad jokes with.
I don't for a minute think that this has any bearing on me but I did feel as an older woman i was not as favoured . I do like banter btw but they just wanted lad mates.
It just made me feel a bit overlooked.

Only 7% of CEOs of FTSE 100 companies are female.
Only 27% of the cabinet are female (almost none in senior positions)
Although 74 per cent of all classroom teachers are female, only 66 per cent of headteachers are female. And there’s an even greater difference in secondary schools: women make up 64 per cent of the teaching workforce but only 39 per cent of headteachers.
But feminism is no longer needed according to some as we are all equal now...

God yes. Once women hit thirty they become the enemy, old girl, uptight, potential sexual harassment claim or piece of wood furniture.

I’m not suppressed really have you see what goes on most men’s watsap groups..

Ah yes, the great con. Pretend it’s all fixed so the discussion can be taken completely taken off the table.

Tbh I think there should be some tax on men that is then distributed to women in society to counter this. The 'softly, softly' approach to changing men's hearts and minds will never work. They scupper our earning potential with their sexist BS so women should be compensated for that.

Who wouldn't want to work with more people that they are likely to enjoy spending time with?
