We are surviving. Just.

Can hopefully get through to spring. But if weddings / conferences are going to be off the table next winter then we really are fucked.

Whitty's comments about possible restrictions next winter made my blood run cold.

I keep thinking we are nearly there and then hope goes. I know for most people no big events for a few extra months is bearable but it's literally my life's work and income.

Struggling.

Hope you're ok, creative industry here and it's pretty dire.

Are you all on the excludedUK Facebook page. There is a huge campaign for all of the excluded directors, business owners who have literally been left with no support at all.

While we see large chains getting big grants if they have premises 🤷‍♀️

it’s so difficult OP, i really feel for you and your situation. i do feel like we are the forgotten industry in this pandemic .
I organise event and conference participation for a tech company, and was furloughed last year till september, as things were starting to look better, but now we’re back in lockdown i feel my role is completely redundant, luckily i am still at my company helping out in marketing where i can , but after chris whittys comments today - i’m feeling very nervous that events will get going in 2021...
