To wonder why Brexit means there are no Cheese bites at Macdonalds?

Teetering on the brink of general hysteria cos everything (and yes I know IABU for eating Macdonalds and for lacking in resilience) but DP has just returned from trying to get a parcel from the depot which is closed at 12 every day except Thursday now for some reason not explicitly stated and handed me a burger and said there are no cheese bites because Brexit. Fascinating.

To be fair we alternate Macdonalds with KFC and our local kebab house. The kebab house adds salad and there are pickles in the Macdonalds.

We got kebabs yesterday.

They often only have one 'snack bite' item. They gave chicken Katsu bites at the moment so aren't having the cheese bites.

I spent a good 10 minutes scrolling through Uber tonight trying to find my god dam cheese bites.

That aside, don’t McDonald’s claim to source locally or is that just bullshit?
