How ugly are the clothes advertised here?!

Eva Emily or whatever, and the weird Dolly Parton shirts with octopi on...even on the models everything is outstandingly horrible. I can't imagine anyone wearing such horrendous clothes. I have never seen anything like them in shops. Where the F have they come from??

Oh, and that advert about her husband joking about her fucking cooking is even worse.

definitely a scam site, I recognised the "model's pose from a completely different website! the photoshopping is rubbish too.

Nousernameforme · 03/01/2021 21:25

That's clearly one of those sites where they pay pennies to sweat shop workers to copy designs online. The pattern for those knitted knee high socks were doing the rounds a couple of years back exact same photo.

nosswith · 03/01/2021 21:27

Seem OK to me. Not that as a man I am supposed ever to criticise what a woman wears.

Somanysocks · 03/01/2021 21:37

The adverts on mumsnet are based on your browsing history

They can't be necessarily , I get one that is for top London divorce lawyers, I'm not married and never searched that sort of thin

But you have read LTB threads mentioning divorce.
Robbybobtail · 03/01/2021 21:48

Good god, it’s like the Joe browns catalogue on acid!

Robbybobtail · 03/01/2021 21:49

It's like Joe Brown on lsd

Haha, crossed post! Me and dh laugh our heads off at the joe browns catalogue - it’s a great source of entertainment.

DrManhattan · 03/01/2021 21:52

They look like clothes from Shein

MessAllOver · 03/01/2021 21:54

I quite like the fox dress and the cat hoodie. When (if?) life returns to normal and I can take my toddler out to cafes and restaurants again, it would save having to bring a picture book along to amuse him...I could just wear those clothes instead. So useful as well as ornamental.

Oh, I actually love these!

ktp100 · 03/01/2021 22:25

OMG the jumper with the grey cat coming out of the front!!

I almost want to order one just to see how unimaginably hideous it is on me when it's so jaw droppingly hideous on a model!!

MessAllOver · 03/01/2021 22:30

@ktp100. If you're talking about the cute little fellow with the scarf, that was one of my favourite items! My DSIS, who is a cat lover, might be getting that next Christmas Grin.

thenightsky · 03/01/2021 22:33

Wouldn't touch the company with a bargepole...

RaspberryCoulis · 03/01/2021 22:40

I like some of the dresses! There's a cute fox one which would be perfect with leggings or thick tights and boots.

MissBaskinIfYoureNasty · 03/01/2021 23:18

It's a bit tragic. "Quirky" clothing.

Macncheeseballs · 03/01/2021 23:24

Missbaskin - I suppose you're a regular style icon

Goodbye2020Hello2021 · 03/01/2021 23:24

These are the same clothes/shoes on ‘floryday’ registered in Hong Kong.
I’ve seen the same stuff under other names too.
Gross clothes.

Goodbye2020Hello2021 · 03/01/2021 23:26

and dodgy website.
Don’t order (not that you would) before doing your research.

Cadent · 03/01/2021 23:29

I’m slightly disturbed by the model’s protruding ribs in that Eva Emily link.

alibongo5 · 03/01/2021 23:31

I like some of the stuff as I like that sort of bright, festival style stuff which is difficult to find on the high street. The TrustPilot reviews is only 2 reviews which is a little worrying as it seems to suggest not being very established (rather than that they are both poor).

kwiksavenofrillsusername · 03/01/2021 23:36

Those designs would have all been stolen from someone’s Etsy or boutique. The Chinese scam sites love stealing the felty type clothes, those chunky mittens and patterned leggings. You see the same ones year after year and the photoshopping gets worse each time!

gettingfedupagain · 03/01/2021 23:53

Omg! The photoshopping! 🤣🤣🤣
