New man driving me insane

I've been on five dates with a man who is really lovely and we seem to get on really well so far. The only problem is he finishes off almost everything he says with "so...." It is driving me insane and I'm finding I'm having to finish phone calls with him after a few minutes because of it. I don't know if it's because he's still in the nervous stage when speaking to me/with me in person, but I don't know what I can do!

He also phones me a few times a day. I don't really like speaking on the phone to anyone but when I try and shut down the conversation after a reasonable amount of time, he always comments something along the lines of "well, aww, if you have to go" then keeps me talking for longer! AIBU?

I dont see an issue. What does he do for a living

My fil says 'you know' after every sentence .. drives me nuts . I couldn't live with him !

The being phoned so often would be enough for me to end it, assuming of course you’ve already told him not to? And if you haven’t why not? The beginning of a relationship is where you set your ground rules! Perhaps if he called you less his ending of sentences wouldn’t be so annoying? The fact they’re annoying you already though should make you re think the dating of this guy.

The constant phoning would be a big no for me. Needy, no life of his own, a bit obsessive. Yuk.

He'll soon stop calling you.

Five dates is no investment at all. If he is annoying you already, there will be more things to discover about him that drive you mad. Why are you hesitating to dump him?

If I was talking to somebody and they kept starting conversations with the word So, I'd find them very annoying and poorly educated

Ironic to use the words "poorly educated" about someone you haven't met, when your own post has such terrible grammar!

If you're going to come on an Internet forum make such snobby sweeping generalisations based on how somebody speaks (that you've never actually witnessed first-hand), maybe improve your standard of writing first.

You are right! I am appalled at my lack of self awareness . I see now how the word can be used at the end of a sentence!

Although in my defence, my sentence made sense, I still don't see how it could be put at the end of most sentences!
