AIBU in thinking Quavers are better than Wotsits?

I think Quavers melt in the mouth better, have a nicer cheese flavour, and nicer appearance compared with the tiny puffy orange turds.

AIBU?

Wotsits are like crack to me. If I buy a multipack it will definitely all be gone on the day. Hence I hardly ever buy a multipack...

Belledan1 · 24/12/2020 19:32

I quite like French fries. Aldi ones are quite nice too.

Twinkie01 · 24/12/2020 19:35

M&S skips too are nicer than KP ones and frazzles are rank, you burn synthetic bacon burps for days!

Cokearama · 24/12/2020 19:36

Quavers are the devil's toe nail clippings.

Belledan1 · 24/12/2020 19:36

Do you know what are nice them kid's crisps that are like wotists. Very small packs get cheese, s&v, onion and cant get think other one. Just enough to have with a sandwich without feeling guilty.

Mangofandangoo · 24/12/2020 19:37

Wotsits win hands down

GooGoo52 · 24/12/2020 19:37

They're both gross 🤣😂

HollyandIvyandallthingsYule · 24/12/2020 19:41

I also really like nik naks.

mrsm43s · 24/12/2020 19:45

Under normal circumstances I would agree with you that Quavers beat Wotsits.

However, its Christmas buffet season, so its all about the cheesy balls (knock off wotsits) and salt and vinegar twists. Maybe onion rings too, if you're fancy. Quavers have no place on a Christmas buffet table.

For kids snacks that are actually yummy for the rest of the year, both Quavers and Wotsits are beaten hands down by pickled onion Monster Munch.

Dahlietta · 24/12/2020 19:47

It is indeed the smell of quavers which is just revolting.

I quite like a Wotsit. My toddler now forces me to eat the first one "to check they're not poisoned". I may have accidentally trained him too well...

fruitypancake · 24/12/2020 19:48

Prefer wotsits!

Graffitiqueen · 24/12/2020 19:51

YABVU wotsits are the best crisps ever.

Belledan1 · 24/12/2020 19:55

Omg yes rib flavoured Nik naks. If I buy any of the crisps mentioned DH always asked me to get decent crisps next time like McCoys!

PoloNeckKnickers · 24/12/2020 19:57

Anyone else love Ringos? I can only get them from Wilkos and one dodgy newsagents. They are so greasy but awesome especially the salt & vinegar.

VicMackey · 24/12/2020 19:58

Lidl’s version of wotsits are much better than legitimate wotsits 🧀

Brightbluebell · 24/12/2020 19:59

Wotsits all the way!

Quavers are like eating cheesy air!

Belledan1 · 24/12/2020 20:00

Poloneck, they sell them in morrisons in multi packs cheese and onion

moglovesmincepies · 24/12/2020 20:01

What? Nooooooo
Wotsits so much better. Especially the steak ones

GintyMcGinty · 24/12/2020 20:02

I'm with you. Quavers are great wotsits are rank.

KarlKennedysDurianFruit · 24/12/2020 21:28

I'll eat either but prefer a quaver, the question really is if walker's do marmite crisps and quavers, why on earth don't they do cheese and marmite quavers?

ChewtonRoad · 24/12/2020 22:14

Quavers YY; Wotsis are okay.

Neither reach the status of Pom Bears ready salted, which have taken the place of ready salted Chipsticks (BRING THEM BACK NOW). There was a brief fling with Hula Hoops Puft ready salted, but I prefer the cheese-like oily coating on the teeth from eating Wotsits to the Pufts.

Would walk over unpackaged Quavers (risk to feet) to reach the Pom Bears.
