I quite fancy a glass, it's been in the fridge for over an hour so far. Should it be nice and cold?

Asking the important questions op!
Do you not have ice?

alex1889 · 23/12/2020 22:56

Room temp and over ice!!

Longdistance · 23/12/2020 22:57

What are you in about? I’ve cubes, you need ice cubes.

MistletoeandGin · 23/12/2020 22:58

Another one who has it (in fact is currently having it) room temperature over ice.
I’ve never put it in the fridge!

GhostCurry · 23/12/2020 23:00

@Wingedharpy

Reusable ice cubes prevents the dilution effect AnyFucker.
So does using lots of ice. The more ice there is in the glass, the slower it melts.

Reusable ice cubes, all the way. Don’t fridge it’s, it may well split.

alphajuliet123 · 23/12/2020 23:13

Baileys - warm in a mug. Game changer!

Whatwouldscullydo · 23/12/2020 23:16

I like mine refrigerated

I'll test it for you op

3 or 4 times just to be sure

Longdistance · 23/12/2020 23:19

Amaretto in hot chocolate is 👌🏻

milkysmum · 23/12/2020 23:19

Room temp drinker here too. But seriously just open in, swig a bit, see if it's the temp you like it!?

FoxInABox · 23/12/2020 23:22

Mine is in the cupboard, room temp, as no room in fridge. I thought that was the beauty of Baileys- that some of the other versions have to be kept refrigerated but Baileys doesn’t?
I have mine with some milk and ice cubes though I know some people find it weird to have with milk.

Lekky12 · 23/12/2020 23:22

Why would you water it down with ice cubes? Whiskey rocks or keep it in the fridge imo. Room temperature? OMG. Barf.

amaryllisu · 23/12/2020 23:28

@Treeerex

It needs to go in the fridge. It actually thickens in the fridge. Probably full of gelatine.

I feel your pain OP. I poured what was left from our bottle in the fridge and it was just the dregs. I've had two glasses at room temperature now and it's not the same.

There is no gelatine in Baileys.
UrghThisIsHard · 23/12/2020 23:51

It’s supposed to be served over ice...

Honeyroar · 23/12/2020 23:55

I have it in coffee or with lots of ice cubes (which don’t melt because they haven’t time before I’ve guzzled it). I’ve given out millions of glasses of Baileys while working as an air stewardess and I’d say 90% of people ask for ice.
