Healthy eating or low carb?

I’m in two minds. I need to lose 2 stone. I know I can do it quickly with low carb but a) it’s restrictive and difficult to stick to and b) not exactly healthy
Or I could just eat “healthy” and eat smaller portions. I know this would be a slower way to lose weight.

I’m going to work with my trousers undone. I must lose this weight ASAP.

Don't apologise. It deserved it😂

At the beginning of December I had a shock seeing my weight on the scales and resolved to lose a stone by the end of the month.
I lost 8lb in the first week and 6lb in the second. None in the third, so now I am looking to maintain.
I made a rule to eat nothing after 7pm. No binging on sugar - the odd taste is ok. And try to be active every day.

Cut your eating window-helps cut down the calories and you don't notice after a while cos you adjust to only feel hungry at those times. I think the official name for it is 16-8.

Low carb is not unhealthy, unless you think meat and veg is unhealthy? 🤣

I'm loving the low-carb bootcamp threads on here.

I joined and I've lost 3 stone since May.

I've never felt better and certainly never eaten as well as I do now.

With steak I'd have any combination of these: garlic mushrooms, cauliflower cheese, asparagus, blue cheese melted on top, peppercorn sauce, roasted peppers with chilli flakes, Savoy cabbage with melted butter, portobello mushrooms with melted cheese on top or roasted diced celeriac. There must be something there you like.

I don't have courgette with pasta, I have chunky roasted peppers as the base.
