Hi there fellow pagans are you having a good day ? hope so,dh, dd and me are having a cosy time at home wading through the solstice goodies, and enjoying daft films on the t.v.
the only down side is that dm is on stage 5 ckd in hospital, but she's with us in spirit.
we are celebrating the return of the sun and for life to return to the earth in the spring.
what are you doing ?

We are - the winter solstice is one of my favourite days of the year. Unfortunately it's less than firebowl-friendly weather this year, but I'm just happy being cosied up with my favourite person. We spent the day preparing for the new year, and will settle down with a few treats and some nice incense later.

I am in a tiny way, lots of candles.

I always go to the "Burning The Clocks" parade in Brighton, but it's cancelled this year, for obvious reasons. It's a lovely magical start to the season. samesky.co.uk/projects/burning-the-clocks-2/

I'm not a pagan or celebrating as such but I'm happy the days will start to get longer now :) it's a long, dark winter in Scotland.

Solstice greetings!

No opportunity to gather items for a celebration this year but I put a string of lights up to welcome the return of the sun.
