AIBU to be really anxious about the state and future of the economy? I worry about it much more than covid itself and the number of deaths in the UK. Adding brexit to the mix will be an absolute shitshow as well.

I just can’t help thinking about Theresa May’s quote “there isn’t a magic money tree”. Well, it looks like a whole Amazon rainforest of magic money trees have been found. I dread the future of my ds & dd as they will carry on paying for it all.

Well rest assured Boris and Jacob and the rest of the Tory millionaires don't care . Hopefully this shower of arseholes will get voted out and the next party in can renegotiate our reentry into the EU but without our veto! Well done Boris! et al.

I didn't get chance to post this yesterday, but actually, no you shouldn't worry -this tweet thread explains very well why paying off national debt isn't actually something we should worry about. The nation's finances don't work like a household budget. Seriously - austerity really is just an ideological choice, it's not necessary.
