Aibu to dry my cat?

Aibu to get out a towel and rub the cats down when they come in the cat flap soaking wet from the rain? Aibu for also making very sympathetic noises at them for having to go out in the cold to catch mice for us all?

I dry my two if they're particularly wet. I also call them soggy moggies. Unless one of my teen DS's are within earshot, in which case I call them wet pussies, just to make them cringe...😁

I was going to say 'well as long as you aren't popping them in the tumble dryer...'
I towel my cat as she's a whopping great double coated Maine Coon and she loves the rain..comes in looking like a wet mop!

My baby girl demands it!

Mind you, she doesn't use a litter tray. We let her out into the garden where she runs to her fave spot, does the toilet and runs back in like a dog does.

She does not however, like to be called a dog.

But she's just like a dog.

My Puddin hates being picked up for nothing. Appreciates a good wrap and rub when soggy though.

It's practically illegal not to dry them. Especially their feet.

Our cat like a rub down from the rain, he rolls side to side so I don't miss anywhere and lets me dry all his paws while purring loudly. Once done he attacks the towel and any hands still in the way.

yanbu, mine gets rubbed down with kitchen roll, she prefers it to a towel

Mine loves to be rubbed down when he comes in soaking wet :)

The towel!! Usually a tea towel promptly chucked in the laundry basket here.
