DH fell asleep in DD bed

DH had last day of demanding job today and has just come home for Christmas. Let DD (3yo) wait up for him.
He’s just taken her to bed and accidentally fallen asleep with her 🤍 but he’s still fully clothed! She’s in a single bed. Shall I wake him or let him sleep? He must be exhausted

YABU - let him sleep
YANBU - wake him

I can remember waking up in my DS;s bed thinking why is he is my bed again and realising I was in his .. Let them sleep..

I did that with my son when he was about that age.

:D I so relate to this. Last night DD came into our bed, and then shoved me to the edge until I gave up and went to sleep in her bed. Then around 5am I woke up again to find she'd come out of our bed to find me and was once again trying to get her rightful 90% of the space in her bed! Both times I woke up wondering who was in whose bed.

Is this unusual? I'm a SAHM and I do this several times a week but I wake up after an hour or so

I used to do this all the time with DS1! Only don't with DS2 because he's still in a cot.

I would go and put a hand gently on his shoulder and if he stirs let him know where he is. If he's deeply asleep just leave them.

It's really soporific lying next to a sleeping child. I used to fall asleep next to ds frequently. Leave him.

My sonIL regularly did this with little gdcs, I’d just leave him, it’s not a problem.
