To think the 18th is not ridiculously late to buy a Christmas tree?

There appears not to be a single (real) tree in our local area. We tried two garden centres, the greengrocer, and multiple lay-bys (all places that had them earlier in the month). We cannot be the last people to buy a tree. A week before is a totally normal time to put up a tree! I appreciate it’s been a weird year and lots of people have chosen to put them up early but to have none left at all seems quite extreme!

Have you tried the proper christmas tree farms that grow on site?

They are quite a bit more expensive than people mention on here (I see people on mnet talk about £25 nordmans and am baffled every year - they are at least £50 where I live, £65 for a 7ft tree). But more likely to actually have some available.

I only bought my tree a few days ago. At the local B & M bargains. 9ft tall and the best tree I've ever had.

On our local Facebook Group today, it was posted that B&Q were selling them off for £1 today, then someone said Homebase were giving them away.
Would be quite annoying if you managed to find one this weekend Grin
