Last day of work - what should I do

I started work last month in a call centre answering calls. The role is really rubbish - I am abused on a daily basis verbally, screamed and shouted at. The company I work for deals with a contract on behalf of the government. It’s a temporary role and thank goodness I secured a new job after Christmas which is more in line with my degree and experience.

This role was taken purely for extra income during the coronavirus whilst I looked for an alternative.

So 2 weeks ago I handed In my notice. According to the calculator online I have 3.6 days holiday which the company scheduled in for me - I was not asked when suited me.

One day I was working and was notified 1.5 hours into my shift that it was actually a holiday. So I logged off. I work from home & there is zero support or help. It’s been awful.

Today is my last day. I have asked for this 1.5 hour back but no one is getting back to me. My manager said planning are “being funny about it”.

To make matters worse I got paid today and they have have deducted 6 hours for holiday entitlement.

I have no idea why they have taken this 6 hours off my wages but this 6 hours plus the 1.5 hours I am owed means I am working today for nothing.

I have emailed payroll but won’t get a response any time soon and really wonder if I will ever get this back.

I feel like logging off and saying explaining why. Or do I just work today even though I feel like it is unfair.

So he’s got back to me with a confusing break down of hours accrued. Seems like it may be correct so they have correctly deducted me 6 hours. No mention of the 1.5 hours they owe me however so I’ll send a message to say I’m logging off at half past 4 as it’s been widely acknowledged I’m due that - planning just won’t allocate it to me.
