So giddy . Had a long slog up to it, so now sat with a huge glass of wine, Christmas lights on and demolishing Lindt chocolate.

Start my Xmas shopping tomorrow , with no pressure . In Tier 3 but isn’t everybody , but still will make the most of it.
Anybody else with me?

MN will have my guts for garters but.... I'm on holiday till the NY and I managed to get a cheap flight to Tenerife. I'll confess now I took my two kids out of school!

I finished on the 11th December though and not back in til the 7th jan

Finished today. I'm glad because I'm getting fed up of a particular colleague and their snide comments.

5 hours left in work tomorrow (school) but by god, it's been tough and stressful at times getting here constantly expecting our bubble to burst. Even more stressful when you have a school aged child yourself too. Am going to relish the break. We are all mentally and physically exhausted, totally burnt out.

I did my last day yesterday till the 5th of January! I'm not ashamed to say that I started drinking wine the minute I got through the door!!
No family meet ups, possibly a couple of end of the garden path gift exchanges! I also just split up from my life fiancé after 5 years, so I will be enjoying my time the way I want and
" finding myself ". How long that will take...........fuck knows! 🤷‍♀️

I finish tomorrow and have 2 weeks off, can't wait.
I know I'm lucky dsis works in retail and only gets xmas day off, they arent allowed to book leave in dec/ early jan so I know not everyone gets a break .

Last day today until 4th. So very grateful as I'm exhausted. I've had 2 weeks off this year.
