What can I buy a man for £20

  1. Hipstery type. Vegan. Arty. £20 budget.

What are you buying your millennial men? I need some inspiration!

Is it me or are gifts for men harder on a budget?!

I can think of loads of small things I would buy a woman but with men my mind gets stuck on "book".

Flat cap.
Spare waistcoat.

Wormwoodgal · 16/12/2020 23:08

I have just bought such a chap a handmade macrame yoga mat carrying strap for Christmas. Peak hipster!

AldiAisleofCrap · 16/12/2020 23:10

@practicallyperfectwithprosecco maybe there is a market for it , we could be business partners Grin

7Days · 16/12/2020 23:41

@Serin

That cool book "Entangled Life" How fungi shapes our world.

I thought my DS (20yrs) was joking when he asked for it for his birthday but he loved it.

Is this the one by Sheldrake?

I'd say arty hipster Gen Z men would love this, as would nerdy 40ish mums like me - sounds so interesting

I misread the title and thought you’d asked ‘Where can I buy a man for £20?’ I clicked through anticipating a proper bunfight with MNHQ deletions and hair-pulling. The OP started out really well, though I thought you were being overly prescriptive about your man requirements on a £20 budget. It all went a bit tame after that. Disappointing.

How about these: irisruby.com/products/creative-letter-printed-casual-cotton-stockings

Hotel Chocolat vegan chocolates are amazing. New chilly's water bottle or insulated coffee cup. Vegan belt. Dairy free Baileys.

Biffbaff · 17/12/2020 01:10

Lol, I thought your title said "WHERE can I buy a man for £20?" and I was like Xmas Shock

Proudboomer · 17/12/2020 01:33

I was in H&M at the weekend and bought a beanie hat made out of recycled polyester. It is lovely and soft and you would never guess it was recycled polyester. I was £9.99 so you could add some of their funky socks. My adult son loves their food themed socks.

Frownette · 17/12/2020 04:01

Yet another one who misread it as where...

Well, where can you?!

Monty27 · 17/12/2020 04:15

Can we go halfs OP as I couldn't eat a whole one 🤭

fourquenelles · 17/12/2020 04:25

I got my man friend Star Trek stamps1st day covers and vegan chocolates.

LadyOfTheCanyon · 17/12/2020 05:15

Vegan cheese making kit. Was a hit with my husband!

drspouse · 17/12/2020 05:17

@AldiAisleofCrap

I read that as where not what *@CutToChase*
So did I... I don't need one but clicked to find out anyway!
AtlasPine · 17/12/2020 05:21

@Hoppinggreen

I also thought the title said Where rather than what I was going to offer DH
Hehe!

I know you said you’re avoiding books but I just wanted to say how much I’m enjoying this one. It’s extraordinary and fabulous.
footprintsintheslow · 17/12/2020 05:25

Search on Etsy for vegan and loads comes up.
You could get a BOSH cook book for about £10 and then 2kilos of vegan sweets from Etsy for £10.

That would be my heaven.

footprintsintheslow · 17/12/2020 05:27

Just read that you want to stay away from books.
In that case I'd go for vegan baileys from
Amazon which was on offer a while back plus the sweets. Still heaven.

Iwoot is good for this kind of thing. They usually have a 3 for £15.00

They have some grow your own kits at the moment, wierd types of tomatoes, the kit has seeds and pots.

They also have baubles and lights for trimming a beard.
