Hi all,

This is my first post but I'm a long time lurker!

Do you ladies know of any charities for pregnant women that I can donate my pram to?

Ive tried looking online however I can't find anything in my area which is Warwickshire.

Thanks ladies!

When I was in hospital as an in-patient with a newborn poorly baby, they had a few prams on the ward which we could use to take baby for a little walk or go to the in-hospital shop. Couldn't take in our own, but honestly they were a lifesaver. Apparently they were donated by parents. I'd recommend that. Someone will be very very grateful!

A cursory google and I found a baby bank in OPs area. OP, just drop it off there and some one will be very grateful for it.

thats providing the op drives etc - Warwickshire is a small county but its still a good 60 miles from south to north

I'd keep lurking OP rather than have to deal with some of the absolute soul sucking dementors on this site.

You're doing a kind and generous thing.

Surely thats the same for any donation though, you take the thing to somewhere. I can't imagine many charities are trailing around for single items.

@majesticallyawkward the Kenilworth lions and the British heart foundation both pick up donations

There is a Birmingham baby bank, pretty sure they take prams.

You could try your local Home Start. My one is offered lots of donations which they redistribute to families who need them.

There's nothing wrong in wanting to pass the item on to someone who will really benefit from it instead of some savvy bargain shopper in a charity shop. The best stuff in charity shops in my experience goes to the volunteers who take their pick before putting stuff out.
For god's sake stop being so snotty.

Blimey, to all the posters that seem to think I'm doing it to get a pat on the back, I'm asking as the charity shops i have rang don't want it due to it not being brand new and having some standard wear and tear. It has plenty of life left in it and would be a shame to just tip it!

I do not know of any charities, hence me asking.

Thanks to those posters that have given me useful information, I will give them a ring.
