Judge Judy - what's her secret?

Following from the Tess Daley thread. I have always thought Judge Judy must be a bot. She doesnt seem to age past a certain point. What is her secret or am I right?

😯 You are among Judy fans here - that is not boring! But I have to ask how you found this out!

I'm sure she served her time working her backside off on her career while raising a family as a strict involved parent.
I think she reacts to unmarried mothers as they've no security she spent years in family court she knows how it goes.
I haven't watched it in a long time but live by her mantra if it doesn't make sense it is not the truth.
She is looking well.

I reckon her all her powers come from her trademark lace collars!

In all honesty she's got the cash to take care of herself, she obviously does take care of herself and I think she's aged well- so she's put the work in (and had it done), has the funds and has also had a bit of genetic good luck. Plus a cracking trademark collar collection.

I like the episodes where she tells you a bit of her life like the time one of her friends took her aside and said I love you but you smell like fish 😂😂😂

She doesn't fools gladly, or deadbeats, whether they are married or unmarried, parents or not.

I.was looking to see where I could watch it and fell down a Judy hole .her book is called "Don't pee on my leg and tell me it's raining". New mantra right there

I think she's had facelift surgery rather than Botox and fillers. The end results look of each look very different. I think she's retiring isn't she?

Her intolerance of idiots is legendary in our house, but I really don't like the way she treats domestic violence survivors - her starting point is always 'you should have left sooner'.

Heh. Well - it always sounded like 'on account of' but not quite, if you know what I mean. It bugged me, so I googled a transcript. And then it all fell into place. In addition I've been using subtitles in recent years and that confirmed it - although even the subtitlers get it wrong sometimes.

Since I'm among fans shall I just mention a favourite phrase?

She’s a well-kempt, healthy woman who is probably had a bit of surgery.

As for her attitude to parents: she worked in the family courts for decades. What she says on JJ might appear to be sound bites but it’s based in her experience. She knows the disservice that irresponsible parents of either sex do to their children. Mothers who make poor decisions shouldn’t be given any more slack than fathers who do.
