So I've been recently listening to podcasts and listened to "they walk among us" about the tragic death of Stuart Lubbock.

I also watched the all4 documentary "Barrymore: body in the pool"

I am outraged that no one has been charged!!

There is so much wrong with the case... why wasn't MB PA interviewed at your inquest after he was allowed to "clean up" and then evidence which had been photographed had gone missing???

It's been almost 20 years and still poor Stuart's horrific death has an open verdict!

I also wouldn't be surprised if there was bribes, blackmail or threats behind the silence. It's all very strange.

Watching MB videos on YouTube of him in the 90s is odd. Even if this situation hadn't happened, I couldn't see him having a career nowadays. All he seems to do is be nasty and rude to people or grope them. There's an old clip of Susan Boyle on one of his talent shows, and he looks up her dress while she's singing. He's such a knob.

I suspect it’ll come out when MB dies, and then people who were at that party will talk.

I always imagined it was a huge party in a mansion and was shocked when I saw the documentary.
I think everyone there knew what happened that night and are implicated in some way hence the silence.

Presume lack of or insufficient evidence, CPS have to go under the reasonable chance of conviction guidance. Who do you specifically think should be charged and charged on what basis or crime? Can’t just cry something should happen. What something? Who? Barrymore comes out badly for sure but do you mean him?

Mammyloveswine · 10/12/2020 07:28

@ClarenceBoddicker it just seems odd that there was no search of the apartment belonging to the PA (that I can find from the evidence I've listened and read about!). Also the first pathologist never even mentioned Stuart's horrific anal injuries!

Just all very dodgy!

It's a very strange matter and the lack of discovery of sufficient evidence to charge anyone is really odd. A young healthy man ends up dead with severe internal injuries at an event where a small number of traceable people are present, there is tampering with evidence, but no charges are brought. So it remains an unsolved murder. Stinks to high heaven.

Quite a few celebrity presenters seem to get embroiled in scandals. I can think of CJ de Mooi and poor innocent little John Leslie off the top of my head. The narcissism and lack of boundaries must be rife...
