I’m getting married on the 19th but have been eating waaaaay too much crap lately due to lockdown and awkward shift work. I’m 63kg and just under 5ft 7 which I know probably doesn’t sound like a lot but I hold it all on my stomach, hips, bum and thighs so it’s really unflattering! None of my jeans fit comfortable (size 10) and my wedding dress is just a bit too tight for comfort.

I’ve left it so last minute as we had already rescheduled and tbh I didn’t think it would go ahead!! Now I’m mad panicking because I’m working the next 5 days (long days) and 3 days long days) next week which gives me zero time to exercise. My excuse of “I’ll go tomorrow” has finally come back to bite me!! Please, does anyone have any miracle diets or workout routines I could do?!

I’m a student midwife but currently working in community so not a lot of rushing around like it is on the wards. I only drink water and 2 coffees a day, no soft drinks or alcohol, don’t smoke. However can finish off a sharer bar of chocolate on my own within 5 minutes 🙈 definitely don’t mind being super strict and eating completely bland meals for the two weeks and then after Christmas I’ll try for something more long term! I used to be sooo good at exercising but now I have zero motivation!

@Yesmate I looked into this just now and I’m really tempted as then at least my portions are planned out in advance controlled! How awful does it taste though?! For two weeks it’s probably not a huge deal Is it!

At 5ft7 and 63kg your BMI is 21.7 which means you’re already slim, and you’re talking about trying to lose 10% of your body weight in under 2 weeks. By all means eat well and take care of yourself for these two weeks but you’re setting yourself up for misery if you try to set that kind of goal at what’s already a really stressful time!

@Namedchangedfordiet I did Cambridge and the taste was fine, not gourmet but for two weeks it’s ok. Cambridge needs an appt with a consultant and “signing up” whereas exante you can just order online so thought it was a better option for you given the time you have. I haven’t tried it but a lot thatch follow on insta switched from Cambridge to exante because it’s a lot cheaper. I
