Help. Christmas present for £30 for myself

goingtosnow · 06/12/2020 10:08

I need to find something (preferably) on Amazon that I would like for my Christmas present for around £30.
And also same for DH.
It's from a family member who lives in another country and would like to send us both a gift but needs us to say what we want🤷‍♀️ exactly.
I don't know what i want.
What would you ask for???

Confused there must be something you would like.

Or just browse Amazon until you find something.

Calyx72 · 06/12/2020 10:10

Ask for a voucher? Sorry. That's what I would do Grin

On my Amazon wish list at the moment I have

this moon lamp
this automatic hair curler
this silk pillowcase
drawstring make up bag
and this back support cushion
And a kitchen bin, some tea lights and the midnight library (book) by Matt Haig.

An essential oil diffuser. Well that's what I'm having anyway!

TroysMammy · 06/12/2020 10:43

Couldn't you have a joint present of £60 and get a DAB radio or something you both would use?

BigBaublesGalore · 06/12/2020 10:57

Alexa

KittenCalledBob · 06/12/2020 10:59

I'd get new running leggings.

loveacupoftea18 · 06/12/2020 11:01

Cashmere socks. Blissful

actiongirl1978 · 06/12/2020 11:08

Running head light. £25.

JillofTrades · 06/12/2020 11:24

I would go with a voucher. Then you can decide when you need something.

Fairyfalls · 06/12/2020 11:36

House of Fraser have lots of beauty giftsets including clarins and origins

LethargicLumpOfLockdownLard · 06/12/2020 11:38

I'm getting a hair straightening brush. From amazon, spent ages reading reviews of all the cheaper ones and picked one that seems to actually work. Excited to try it.

goingtosnow · 06/12/2020 14:26

Thanks
I was thinking a good cast iron pan maybe for both of us, but the good ones are still more expensive...

Leggings I could use...

Amazon sells loads of clothes, you're bound to find something you like on there. It just takes a very long time. I'd look for a nice big, cosy cardigan. God I sound so old!

Allfednonedead · 06/12/2020 14:38

If you want a cast-iron pan, I strongly recommend the Lodge ones, which are not very expensive, but a joy to cook in. Assuming you mean frying-pan, rather than casserole?
