I can't be arsed to take photos and can't see the upload button here anyway, but you can see it on this link:

My sister gave it to me and she usually has decent taste! AIBU to think this is the tackiest shite bag I've ever seen?

If your Sister usually has good taste, what on Earth was she thinking buying such a bag?

Do you think she's re-gifting it?

If you are trying flog the bags, this thread should leave you in no doubt that it's disliked immensely.

Can't you just tell your Sister that it just isn't your taste, surely it's better to tell her and she can get you something else. It's a waste of her money to shove it in a cupboard or charity bag.

Bunbunbunny · 06/12/2020 03:18

Melt it

Monty27 · 06/12/2020 05:48

OP that handbag is tacky.
Stick it in the charity shop bag or upcycle as a clothespeg bag 🤭

flaviaritt · 06/12/2020 07:47

The bag isn’t the only tacky thing about this post.

CorvusPurpureus · 06/12/2020 20:47

Well, either your sister has bought you a horrible bag for the lolz (in which case your issue is that your sister is a bit weird, or your relationship with her is, or both)...

OR she thought you'd like it & made an error of judgment about your taste.

Only you know which!

But if it's the second, just pass it on to a charity shop, or to a passing teenager who'd love it, or return it if you have the receipt. Absolutely no drama required.

I agree it's pretty ghastly - if someone bought it for me I wouldn't use it or keep it. But unless there was an otherwise solid reason to believe that they were deliberately trying to yank my chain, which seems a tad far fetched without a back story, I'd just assume they'd completely misjudged my taste & quietly pass it on.

firesong · 06/12/2020 20:49

Oh dear Grin Not my style either, but perhaps you could tell her it's not really your style, and ask if she would mind if you swap it?

LoveMyKidsAndCats · 06/12/2020 20:51

Yanbu. Vile.

I'm fairly sure this is your advert and you've created this story to get views in the hope that someone will like it and buy it.

Nice try.
