He is an amazing man. It is a great watch, and what he says about able bodied people using facilities he desperately needs is salutary.

I think this subject sometimes gets rather muddled. Usually, ironically because everyone is so keen to be inclusive.

I have both visible (acquires) and hidden (life long) disabilities myself and I thought his points were good ones.

I watched it when it was on tv. Really interesting programme.

Thanks, that was worth the watch.

I watched when it was on tv. Hes very not embarrassed about everything to do with his disability which was interesting to see. Hes just got on with his life.

He is a great, calm, matter of fact, role model.

I watched it a while ago. I thought it was very good, very insightful. Years ago I knew a bloke who had had a spinal cord injury and used a wheelchair, and he cracked on with life despite the shocking disabled access back in the 80s - serious career, made homebrew, swam in the local river, camped. He was also massively bright and got me reading some serious literature.

But his evident and sometimes openly expressed frustration about what he couldn't do made me forever grateful to be fit and able.

I still have it recorded to watch. Haven’t got round to it yet but it’s the sort of thing I want to watch “properly” rather than it being on in the background whilst doing something else. I will get to it though

I’m very impressed that he was able to squeeze in so many issues he has faced without it feeling rushed.

I must say I never thought about the height issue. I only had one school friend in wheelchair and that was not something she chose not to talk about (then again we were young and she has no memories of not being in a wheelchair).

I watched it.He made being disabled look easier than it must be. I hadn't thought about his height - when he said he felt emasculated.ahout being the same height as an 8 year old that was very eye opening for me.
